Shared Dreams. The words by themselves open a sky full of possible meanings. When put together they become a term with much more refined definition(s).
But let us take it to where Tony is going in the video below. Shared Dreams becomes quite literal and spiritual. In a previous post Tony talked about death, life and love. He works in a hospital and coded a patient. The [elderly] wife was there and asked him what should she do? Indeed. What should she do. At that moment when you need to make the decision on life or death for your life long friend, love (impending loneliness ?) can render you quite helpless.
You are afraid for yourself and what lies ahead for you but you don’t want your friend to suffer anymore and you need to decide.
The message in that post was cherish that special person in your life. You never know when their time will come. Tony didn’t.

Tony and Jamie shared an amazing connection on a level not too many people reach. But when you share dreams, it is absolutely the pinnacle of becoming one.
So I turn around because I need to find that book I read 26 years ago; it’s about soul mates and made a big impression on me at the time. I still got the book, right? But I can’t remember the title. Then I saw the urn we brought Mom home in. Then I saw all of the nick knacks of hers in our book case.
It’s kind of like what Tony says in the video. You keep these things close because of the fear that if you don’t other things will soon occupy that space. In your head, in your book case. I make no differentiation.
In a different conversation over fb Tony stated he doesn’t believe in ghosts. Well my friend, what are ghosts but your dreams wide awake?
I don’t know what will happen November 2nd, twenty-eleven. Madness. Insanity. Eye Of The Storm. Insanity and more Madness I suppose. But you hit that spot that few get, Tony. You shared a dream.
I am not usually one to dis America by misspelling her name. But it did occur to me, pretty much as I was writing it, that substituting a “k” for the “c” would lend itself to a more eastern European feel. And not the romantic, picturesque cities of eastern Europe. I’m talking pulling vegetables and fruit on a cart about ready to disintegrate down a dirt road . That’s the kind of life I see for Amerika in the future.
Extreme view? Oh yes. Will it happen? On the whole, absolutely not.
That doesn’t mean that there won’t be people on par with that picture, however. You see, Korporate Amerika has done a great disservice to the American Dream which is work hard, do right by your family, friends and neighbors and you can live a long and prosperous life in America. It’s absolute bullshit brought to you by Korporate boardrooms of Amerika. They have sucked dry the middle class of any means by which to prosper by keeping wages down (read flat) for a couple of decades. Korporate Amerika has flown your dreams overseas.

If you were making $25 per hour on 1989 and you factor in 2.5% inflation every year, what’s the adjusted per hour amount you are getting in 2011? Just go and do it, I’ll wait.
